Pharmaceutical Industry in Saxony-Anhalt
The pharmaceutical industry is an
important pillar within the health care industry. It is a major employer
in Saxony-Anhalt, with steady growth in sales and employment. Between
2003 and 2009 the number of employees could be increased by nearly 60
percent in this industry. Besides the production of globally oriented
companies, in addition, innovative small and medium enterprises make a
substantial contribution to this.
